| Christina goes under the influence of a certified Master Hypnotist Jeff Oatman. While in her hypnotized state, she gives in to his suggestions, believing she is a pop star and counting eleven fingers on her hands. Having experienced being hypnotized, Christina is then given the power to lead the class. She has influence over them, having them all in fits of laughter in response to her instruction that the word "Gucci" is hilarious. Her power fails, however, when she asks one of the girls to take money out of a wallet. It seems that even in her hypnotized state, her conscience was too strong to carry out this request. Some dental patients choose hypnosis rather than needles. As Christina finds, a pinch on the cheek which would normally feel painful, has no effect. All the dentist does is relax her with soothing words: "touch, but no pain." Forensic hypnotists use hypnotic techniques as a way to assist the police in solving crime.
